Before Tazer and arrest at the sit in a day of Rallies at Olympia WA Occupy Wall Street Olympia Chapter. I spent about 3 hours down town covering different locations and getting a few opinions. I spoke with some labor lobbyist who indicated it was a state wide protest of the first day of special session where they are going to cut more money from the state budget. I find this odd as the legislators will be in regular session in about 40 days. It cost a lot of money to hold a special session and the fact they could not get the budget right all year long is also confusing. Question would be why they have to hold a Grinch special session for an all Christmas cuts presents. The anxiety created in tens of thousand of state employees this holiday season will be huge! What impact might this have on the economy? What message is it sending to the Christmas shopper?
